Helios Strategic Mortgage Income Fund, Inc. declared a monthly dividend of $0.0525 per share, payable on August 25, 2011 to stockholders of record on August 19, 2011.

The ex-dividend date is August 17, 2011. Based on the NYSE closing price of $6.08 on August 4, 2011, the Fund's annualized dividend yield was 10.36%.
