Mr. Akin is an expert in health informatics, federal enterprise architecture, and information technology (IT) best practices that ensure stakeholders have the information they need for critical clinical, public health, and policy decisions. Mr. Akin has nearly two decades of experience in informatics and public health, supporting government clients with a variety of enterprise-wide and domain-specific IT solutions. Before joining ICF, he served in several senior technical and business roles for a large IT integrator, focusing on the development and implementation of service-oriented IT architectures, systems integration, and business process management. Previously he was the sole proprietor of an IT company serving both national firms and local clients in Atlanta.
