NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NRG) Kirkland B. Andrews will join NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NRG) as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective September 6, from Deutsche Bank Securities, where he served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Power and Utilities-Americas. Andrews succeeds Christian Schade who, as previously announced, is leaving NRG to return to the healthcare industry as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Omthera Pharmaceuticals Inc.
