Tuesday Morning Corp. (Nasdaq:TUES) reported that, as previously announced, net sales for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011 were $194.8 million compared to $200.8 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2010, a decrease of 3.0%. Comparable store sales decreased 4.5% for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011 compared to the same period last year. The decrease in comparable store sales was comprised of a 5.4% decrease in traffic partially offset by a 0.9% increase in average ticket. Net loss for the fourth fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2011 was $1.4 million, or a $0.03 loss per share, compared to net income of $1.3 million, or $0.03 per diluted share, for the same period last year. For the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, net sales were $821.2 million compared to $828.3 million for fiscal 2010, a decrease of 0.9%. Comparable store sales decreased 1.2% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011 compared to fiscal 2010. The decrease in comparable store sales was comprised of a 1.7% decrease in traffic, partially offset by a 0.5% increase in average ticket. For the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, the Company had earnings per diluted share of $0.22 versus $0.25 for fiscal 2010.
